LIVE @ THE PHOENIX

SAT 19th DECEMBER. TONIGHT, TWO BOB ARE NPHOENIX ARTS CENTRE (PAC) CUTTING and LINK TO ua1066OT GUILTY.
Performing as one band with 'NOT GUILTY' combining both acts. A new edge to some popular classic pop tunes.   Advertised as TWO BOB BIT at the Pheonix Arts Centre (PAC). People do like to make fun of our name. NO CHANGE THERE THEN !!!!!

Despite the worst weather conditions of the year, a good percentage of the sold out show turned out for the Christmas party held at the Phoenix Arts Centre. The Two Bob Band showed versatility by playing Christmas hits from SLADE, party hits of THE PROCLAIMERS, dancing to THE SHADOWS, THE BEATLES and PETER KAY'S ''Is This The Way To Amarillo'' among other hits that are from Not Guilty's set list. We are not just a hippy tribute band!!!!   It is great to be able to work with and support other bands and hope to do so again.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14th 2010 IS THE TURN OF THE TERMINUS, HAILSHAM, TO HOST THE TWO BOB BAND This is the last TWO BOB gig of the year. We are guesting with the 'NOT GUILTY' band in December. We will use the break to install fresh ideas and revamp our act for 2010
Our last gig for 2010 was in front of a packed house at The Terminus. A lively appreciative audience gave us a rousing ovation at the end when we were finally allowed to finish. Owner Barry played kazoo with us on Rainy Day Woman while strutting around like Mick Jagger. Awesome!!!
Looking forward to the christmas dinner party at the Phoenix Arts Centre and our support of Hughs 'NOT GUILTY'

THE G-SPOT REVUE

 NICK WILSON
28 May 2009
Nick is a very talented singer songwriter from Maidstone. He made an instant impact the first time I heard him with his very clear and distinctive voice accompanied by his great work on acoustic guitar. His songs are very melodic, some slightly quirky and with a great touch of humour.
He also performs some great covers such as Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi . Don't miss !

Things may seem a little slow on THE TWO BOB front, we have been busy in other ways. Promotions, rehearsal, promo disc which is now ready and other event organising, so a brief update on our notes.

THE TERMINUS, Feb 28 was another tremendous evening. Dancing on the tables, deafening cheering, encore after encore, they just don't like us going home.

THE DRIVE, Eastbourne, again very lively which is good to see because this really is the best live music venue in Eastbourne.

SOUTHWICK SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB (nr. Brighton). March 7th
If you are not a member of this club then JOIN NOW. Our first time here, sound check perfect, a slick professional start then soon to realise that the audience are amongst the warmest and most appreciative that we have come across. It's hard playing Dylanesque material to a new audience that have not heard you before, straight away we felt at home and relaxed. We would like to thank Mark, the social secretary, for inviting us to perform at Southwick Sports and Social club.

CROSS-IN-HAND JAN 31st
The Cross-In-Hand is a great free entry venue to play. We set up facing the bar area this time to create a more intimate feel with the audience. There are nights we play well, then there are nights we just can't go wrong and this was one of them. Neil Youngs ''Like A Hurricane'' was re-introduced to our set and to the loudest applause of the evening.

THE KINGFISHER TAVERN
This was a good one. A hard place to set up but once the sound was right we had a great time along with everybody who was there, quite a few people there in fact. We had not been there before and the regulars had not heard us, quite impressed by the staff, the regulars and the visitors who cheered us on.
THE KINGFISHER is part of Langney shopping centre so lots going on..Tesco open late, Dominoes Pizza.. FREEentry venue and loads of FREE PARKING
